What is
Polarity? Polarity is a youth enhancing therapy. Dr. Randolph Stone, D.C.
D.O., (1890-1981) formulated this natural health system. Polarity therapy
encompasses using pressure points, eating fresh and raw food along with
proper food quantities and combinations. Imbalances and illnesses are
traced back to thoughts. Therapy techniques include: reflexology, muscular
and structural alignment, massage, cranial-sacral, energy exercises, subconscious
programming through the use of affirmations, breath work, and left/right
brain balancing. Structural, functional, and physiological results are
produced after receiving polarity therapy.
The therapist acts
as a booster cable causing an increased surge of energy, therefore resulting
in moving the energy through the blockages opening the gravitational lines.
Once this is achieved, the two points, including a positive and neutral
polarity, are held to produce a stable, calm, balanced effect. Thus, polarization
or a balanced state is produced. This is how a battery charger works.
During this process, the individual may experience releases of emotions,
feel tingling, see flashes of light, feel surges of energy, or possibly
revisit past memories stored in the subconscious mind.
Dr Stone believed
that once the body was positioned back into a natural balanced state then
wellness, vitality and youth would be restored. This becomes quite apparent
after you experience a sequence of polarity sessions. There are few forms
of therapy that encompass so many disciplines. Polarity is a results oriented
remedial treatment.
Various, subconscious
patterns can be understood by observing constitutional types or body styles.
There are five main body types. Since there are various models with similar
structures, the elements of fire, air, water, ether and earth types will
be compared. They are also referred to as osseous (ether), muscular (earth),
cerebral (air), thoracic (fire) and abdominal (water).
FENG
SHUI
“Feng Shui (pronounced fung-schway) is the Chinese art of creating
balance and harmony in our living and working environments.” Words
such as: water, metal (air), wood (ether), earth and fire are utilized
to establish the balance between man and nature. This will reflect your
body shape. Seeking out a specialist in your area to consult on your home
is well worth the money. Ideally, when you have more than one home it
is wise to compare ideas (maybe from a friend’s place) will assist
in learning the multiple facets of feng shui.
Common ailments
for each body type are listed to assist in your awareness to which areas
may need attention. Additionally, the foods that effect each of these
elements are listed. These are only guidelines and need to be used as
such. A balance from all five elements/categories would create the ideal
diet.
